FashionLab Summer Camp 12th edition Division of New England Fashion+Design Association
FashionLab Summer Camp 2018- Want to have a summer fueled with creativity? Come visit us and begin learning new skills, discover yourself, make new friendships, share the laughter, and of course - the grand finale every Friday: present the design your child created on stage and enjoy being proud with the final results.
Every week has new topics, we begin with design ideas, illustrate up to 3 designs, measuring and discussing our steps. The young designers create their patterns from scratch, then make a mock dress from practice fabric, then they get to use the real fabric they bought for their project. Every week there is a grand finale to showcase the final product.
We have fashion industry professionals and professors and graduate students from Parsons School of Design, F.I.T., and our most advanced students who are in pre-college programs.
