Today was our Read across America Day
We read 10 books, wore our Pajamas, brought our stuffies and made waffles for snack.

We have explored hibernation and created a bear den of our own.

The deer ate most of our pumpkin plants I found out they think pumpkin flowers are yummy. Going to try and save the last plant by transplanting it in my yard and hopefully the bunnies won’t eat it.

We thought that we may have “lost “ our pumpkins in the first heat wave but… some of them came back lots of new flowers hopefully we’ll have some pumpkins in the fall. Fingers crossed 🫳🏻

The rising kindergarten class of 2024 gifted us wheelbarrows for the playground how lucky we are. Grateful for these amazing kids and their wonderful families, they are the reason WNNS is such a special school.
