A message from Ms. Amaker about graduation:

As you may have learned, the district has made a change to the high school graduation ceremonies. We will now host one graduation for all P-TECH and NHS graduates at 5:00 pm on June 17; there will no longer be a 7:30 pm ceremony. Students are not required to register or re-register as all seniors are welcome at the single graduation ceremony.

Please note, the two-person ticket limit for graduation guests remains in place. Additional guests will not be permitted.

5:00 pm (only)

Please contact your senior class advisor, Mrs. McGahern, or senior counselor, Mrs. Costello, with questions.

Experience a World Beyond the Stage

Maryann Murillo, a valued member of the P-TECH and NPS communities for the past six years, lost her beloved husband, Richard Murillo, on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Richard was a loving husband, father, family member, and a loyal friend to all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. The sudden loss has been heartbreaking for us all. We will miss Richard dearly.

Many have asked what more they can do to show their support. A donation of any amount will lessen the burden placed upon the family. Remember, no amount is too small. Funds will go directly to Maryann Murillo and will be collected until we reach or surpass our goal. Thank you for your contribution.

Dear P-TECH PTO* Members,
*And please note, if you are the parent or caregiver of a P-TECH Scholar, that's you!

Our first event as a PTO was a success!! Due to your very generous contributions, we were able to provide a wonderful breakfast for our P-TECH Teachers and Staff on Wed May 5th in honor of Teacher appreciation week.

Thank you so much for your donations and for taking the time to show our Scholar's teachers and support staff how much we appreciate them!

Now, please don't forget to join us at the next P-TECH PTO meeting on Tuesday, May 11, at 6:30pm - so we can keep the momentum going. We really need your participation in our newly formed organization and your input on how we can best serve our P-TECH community.

Yearbook news!
Yearbooks can no longer be purchased online. Yearbook sales may be done via cash or check made payable to Norwalk High School with “yearbook” in the subject line. These can be sent c/o Ms. Victoria in room 101A. The cost is $75. Yearbooks will also be available for purchase in person in June when they are delivered.
