REMINDER!!!!!!!!
Pullorum Testing:
All chickens over 12 months need paperwork showing proof pullorum testing. Additionally, any chickens purchased this year need either NPIP paperwork (from the hatchery) or proof of pullorum testing. (If you purchased birds from hatcheries such as Meyer, Hoover, Eagle Nest, Mt. Healthy, etc. they should have provided the NPIP paperwork.) Pressley will pass the pullorum testing paperwork to me which I will have at check-in.
Sunday, August 9, 1:00 – 2:00PM we will have a final testing available on the Huron County Fairgrounds at the poultry barn side. Cost is $3 cash per chicken.
NOTE: this is required for chickens, not ducks nor geese.
Stock the Trailer - and Battle of the Barns: last year poultry won the Battle of the Barns by bringing in over 1500 lbs of food, and all the food is donated to a local food pantry serving the Huron County Community. We want to beat this and bring in even ore. Please collect non-perishables and donate during fair week.
