​The Caudill Crew: Amanda has two boys who both attend Southside. Peyton is a 5th grader and Ethan is a 3rd grader.

​Why She Loves the PTO: “As the music/art teacher at Southside, I see firsthand the impact that the PTO has on our students and staff. I want to help make Southside the absolute best place it can be. Being a part of the PTO allows me to deepen my impact on our school!”

​Fueled By: Iced Matcha and a passion for sharing my love of the arts with my students!

​Fun Fact: Amanda loves all things nature - including plants and animals.🌱🐾🌻

💙 Meet Your 2026–2027 Southside Elementary PTO Vice Presidents! ⚡️

​We are thrilled to introduce the incredible leaders stepping into the roles of Vice President for the upcoming school year! Not only are these amazing moms dedicated to making this year unforgettable for our students, but they actually have some deep roots right here at Southside.

​Let’s give a big Tomcat welcome to our Vice Presidents! 👇

​⭐ Ashly Groves – Vice President of Student Events

​Family: Wife to Kyle and Mom to Brantley (an 8th grader at SHMS) and Barrett (a 5th grader right here at Southside)! 🏫

​Why she loves the PTO: "Because I love Southside. I am a former Tomcat myself and remember it being a really sweet place to be! I am thankful my kids have gotten to experience some of that Tomcat magic!" ✨

​Fueled by: A little bit of Alani and a whole lot of Jesus! 🙌⚡️

​Fun Facts: Ashly serves as a youth leader for grades 6–12 at her church and loves taking mission trips to Amor y Gracia School in Guatemala! 🇬🇹✈️

​Bonus History: She went to Southside with our PTO President, Morgan, and her Co-VP, Kayla, back in the 90's! 🎒

​⭐ Kayla Creekmur – Vice President of Fundraising

​Family: Wife to Jeremy Mom to two boys—Brooks, a 2nd grader at Southside Elementary, and Sheppard, who is 2 years old! 👦👦

​Why she joined the PTO: "I joined the PTO because I wanted to be more involved in my child’s education and contribute to creating a positive, supportive school environment. Southside was also my childhood home and I want kids to enjoy it as much as I did!" 💙

​Fueled by: Lots of loaded teas, Alani, Diet Coke, and the occasional iced coffee! ☕️🥤

​Fun Facts: Kayla is a Nurse Practitioner by day and a full-time sports chauffeur by night! 🏃‍♂️💨 Between baseball, basketball, and flag football, her boys keep her on the move year-round! ⚾️🏀🏈

​We are gearing up for an incredible school year, and we want to kick things off by introducing the face leading our wonderful Parent Teacher Organization. Please give a warm welcome to our PTO President, Morgan Pierce!

​Get to know a little bit about Morgan:
​The Pierce Crew: Morgan is married to Jimmy and they have four amazing kids keeping them on their toes! Layla (11th grade at North Hopkins), Livi (8th grade at South Hopkins Middle), Kellin (6th grade at South Hopkins Middle), and Krew (1st grade right here at Southside Elementary!).

​Why She Loves the PTO: "Southside is like home to me. I went to school here from 1st through 5th grade, and I’m now in my 4th year working here! I absolutely love the kids and this school. Making sure our students have amazing memories—just like the ones I have from my time here—is so incredibly important to me."

​Fueled By: Ice-cold Dr Pepper and a deep love for all of our students! 🥤✨

​Fun Fact: She manages a busy household that includes a dog, two cats, chickens, and a ton of plants! 🐶😺😺🐔🪴🌵

Welcome everyone to the official new Southside Elementary PTO page! 🏫✨🐾💙
​We are so excited to launch this page as a hub for our amazing school community, parents, teachers, and staff. Our goal this year is to work together to support our students, celebrate our teachers, and make Southside the absolute best place to learn and grow.
​To kick things off, we want to introduce you to the team working behind the scenes. We have an incredible, fresh new PTO Board this year, and we can't wait for you to meet everyone!
​Starting tomorrow, we will be introducing one new board member each day, so keep a close eye on your feed to see some familiar faces and learn a little bit about who is serving our school.
