The Winter Carnival is only 3 days away! There are some great prizes to bid on in our Community Heroes Silent Auction, including these masterpieces by our talented artists: Mrs. Sedell, Mrs. Kabat, and K-3 LG students!

[02/19/20]   We're getting excited for the LGN Parents Night Out with Hammer & Stain on Thursday, 3/19! Additional details have been updated under Events on our page. If you plan to attend, please do the following:

*Pre-register by 3/12/20
*Click "Going" on the FB Event (please only do so after you've pre-registered, so we can get a rough headcount for crowd control of course!)
*Consider bringing a friend (or two!)

[02/11/20]   Friendly Reminder: Winter Carnival theme bag donations are due by this Friday, 2/14.

Hi All! All tickets that were ordered for the Providence Bruins game this Friday, 2/14, before the deadline were distributed today, and should have gone home with your child along with hat/popcorn/drink vouchers for the kids. Please check their communication folders!

Here are the meeting instructions for all 2nd and 3rd grade performers.

If anyone is still interested in going, please contact Andrew Clark directly to hold tickets at Will Call the night of the game. If you have a 2nd or 3rd grader that would like to perform on the ice, please contact Danielle Conley ([email protected]).

Tomorrow is the last day to enter the Valentine's Day Heart Contest! Each guess is $1. Students can bring cash or checks can be made payable to LGN PTC.

Tomorrow, 1/29, is the last chance to send in Providence Bruins order forms. Checks can be made out to Providence Bruins. All questions can be directed to [email protected].

Tickets will be sent home late next week with instructions for those singing on the ice (2nd and 3rd graders only).

Norton Public Schools

Kindergarten Registration for September 2020 is now open. Students who will be five years old on or before August 31, 2020 are eligible to register. Packets are available on the Norton Public Schools website: https://www.norton.k12.ma.us/families/kindergarten-registration as well as at the J.C. Solmonese School and the L.G. Nourse School. All registration information is due by Friday, March 13.

The school or library that has the most parents, teachers, friends, or supporters who enter the contest will win a free school or library visit from Jan in the 2020 school year. Contest ends Monday April 20, 2020. 2nd to 10th prizes of 10 Jan Brett books. 11th to 100th prize of a signed Jan Brett poster.

Bring the whole family for a fun night of a movie and popcorn on Friday, 1/24!
(Snow date 1/31 7 PM)

Just bring a blanket to sit on and any snacks/drinks
that you want to enjoy during the movie. We’ll supply the (free) popcorn!

Movie Night is limited to the first 175 people so please send in your reservation form (coming hom this week) by 1/17. No tickets will be sent home; we’ll check you in at the door!

We ask for a $5 per FAMILY donation to defray the cost of the movie. Cash / checks (made out to LGN PTC) accepted.

Warm coats can be dropped off in the bin located in front of the school office through Friday,12/13. Coats collected are professionally cleaned and distributed to families in need through a network of local social service agencies.

Parent Teacher Conferences are this week: Wednesday, 12/11 and Thursday, 12/12.

This was left in the gym today. If it is yours, you can pick it up in the front office.
