Flat surfaces attract CLUTTER. Tell yourself “don’t put it down…put it away.” Take five minutes at the end of each day to reset a room. You will feel so much more relaxed walking into a dining room with a clear table.

Under the sink in the bathroom.

Cramped….empty…now neatly organized.

A quick under the sink refresh!! Don’t keep backstock products under the sink. Only have what you use on a regular basis and then keep spares elsewhere. Don’t make it harder for yourself to reach what you need when you need it!

The WORST thing you can do is run out to the store to buy pretty bins for your things BEFORE you have pared down. Decluttering always comes first. We can worry about the organizing piece later. And honestly? Sometimes JUST decluttering your things is enough! With less things around, you will find your items faster when you need them. Promise.
