About me:
I graduated from Stonehill College in 2006 with a degree in elementary education and psychology. I received my Master’s Degree in 2009 from Fitchburg State. I’ve been teaching since 2006 and have taught grades 3-5. In 2019, I followed my passion for mathematics and became a math specialist in my district and have been in this role ever since. I am available for private tutoring this summer and would love to help your child with his or her math goals this summer. Please message me for rates and availability!

Hi! I’m Lauren! I’ve been working in the education field since 2006. Though I have taught many grades over the years, I spent ten years as a classroom teacher in grade 4 before changing lanes to become a Math Specialist in 2019. My current role includes working with students in grades K through 5 and working closely with classroom teachers to develop and implement effective Mathematics instruction. I currently hold my Master’s Degree, plus 45 additional university credits for professional learning. I have a Professional Teaching License for Elementary grades 1-6 as well as a Mathematics License for grades K-8. When school gets out for the summer, I tutor elementary school students to help them maintain the skills they’ve learned this school year, build confidence, and prevent that dreaded “summer slide.” I offer both in person and virtual tutoring options. I can work one on one with students or in small groups if there are families who want to combine sessions. Reach out to me at [email protected] for more information!
