-Background check process
-Provider requirements
-License application process
-Regulations
-Forms required
-Contact information for the food reimbursement program
-Handbooks approved by the state that include sample schedule, policies, and rates.
-Simple excel sheets for budgeting and tracking financials
-Mock home inspection to identify hazards and changes required by KDHE and Fire Marshal
-Discount (used) equipment and supplies

If you or someone you know is interested in starting a daycare but feels overwhelmed by the start up process, please reach out!
*This is a free service offering advice and helpful tips. KDHE and the State Fire Marshal will have the final say in approval.

TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of eBooks for children, including over 250 animated, talking picture books! The site also features books in Spanish and French, read-along chapter books, non-fiction books, and exciting games and puzzles. All available to you and your children at no charge to you, as long as you're in Kansas!

Openings on regular school days only:

A.M. 7:00-12:00, would be good for a 4-5 year old who attends EES afternoon preschool. The school bus can pick them up here and take them to school.

7:00 am - 4:00 pm for 18 months and up.

Filling employment and childcare openings!!

Hiring full time managers and part time providers. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm with the possibility of full time positions transitioning to four day work weeks. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Current childcare openings- full time 18 months and up, after school openings for 5 and up, and preschool spots (7:30-11:45 or 11:45-5:00) to split rates if we can match kids up.

Ashley works in the library at the Norton elementary and high school. She joins our adventures after school and during school breaks. Ashley and her husband Austin have two kids, Brynna (jr) and Ayden (7th grade). When they aren’t working or following their kids’ activities, they’re busy raising their pigs!

Hello Everyone! I am a mamma to three wonderfully crazy children, a sister to five, and have over 16 years of childcare experience. I will soon be graduating with a Bachelors in Special Education and Elementary Education. I am excited to be the provider for Hilltop Academy 🦒 as my goal in life is to lift the spirits and academic, emotional, and behavioral knowledge of the beautiful littles in our lives.
