This past Saturday, our participants soaked up all the summer joy with a fun-filled water day! From cheering on our boat regatta races, to indoor fishing, and playing with bubbles outside—there were smiles, laughter, and plenty of fun to go around. Days like these remind us how meaningful simple moments together can be. 💙🫧🚤

🌱🌸 DayBreak Garden Update! 🌸🌱

Our DayBreak participants spent some time last week and first thing in the mornings this week helping in our new garden area! They’ve been soaking up the sunshine while planting flowers and vegetables in our garden beds, and they’ve been doing a wonderful job watering our hanging baskets too! There’s something so special about getting hands in the soil, caring for growing plants, and watching everything come to life together.

These moments bring joy, purpose, and a sense of accomplishment—and we love seeing the pride on everyone’s faces as they help our garden grow. We can’t wait to watch these flowers bloom and veggies thrive, thanks to their hard work and teamwork! 💚🌼

We are excited to continue to see this space transform as we have the asphalt scheduled for repair this week and then all our outdoor tables and chairs can be set up!

Our participants have been having a wonderful time lately, staying active, engaged, and connected with one another. From friendly competition on the Wii and lively card games like Uno, to relaxing nail care, puzzle time, and plenty of shared laughter—each day is filled with moments that matter.

We even celebrated National Donut Day with a fun donut challenge that brought out lots of smiles and excitement! 🍩

At DayBreak, we believe in creating an environment where participants feel valued, supported, and full of life. These shared activities do more than pass the time—they build friendships, encourage independence, and make every day brighter.

DayBreak went full throttle for Indy 500 Day! From racing competitions to Hot Wheels action on a race track, the excitement was nonstop. Our race winner even got the full podium treatment with a silly string spray celebration! 🏆
