Football Families, due to unforeseen circumstances we have to change locations, once again, for our parent meeting. The parent/player meeting will be in the High School Sailor Center (main gym) Thursday, March 13 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Please enter the building at the Sailor Center entrance. Shores Football Families,

Hello parents, it's that time of the year. Spring is just around the corner so I want to get you our 2025 football info as soon as possible.

The annual program-wide parent meeting will be Thursday, March 13, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the high school auditorium. This meeting is mandatory for all players / a parent(s) going to be in 7th, 8th, Freshmen, JV, or Varsity this fall. This meeting will take approx 1 hour and we will cover the following:

1. Sign-ups
2. Expectations
3. Calendars
4. Perfect 13s
5. Fundraising

Well it feels like we blinked and we have reached the final game week of the season.

This week we have all three teams in action at home on Wednesday.

We start with the 8th Grade BLUE at 4:00 against Ludington. The 8th Grade BLUE Team will be bused from the middle school to the high school immediately after school. This will be a drop only. So players will need to find their own ride home after the game.

The 7th Grade Team will play Forest Hills Central following the 8th Grade BLUE game. This game will start a little later this week at around 5:15-5:30. There is no bus for the 7th Grade Team. They are responsible for their own transportation to the high school field. Please report at 4:15.

The 8th Grade WHITE game will begin after the 7th Grade game at around 6:30-6:45. There is no bus for the 8th Grade WHITE Team. They are responsible for their own transportation to the high school field. Please report at 4:30.

EQUIPMENT COLLECTION

The 7th Grade Team will turn in all equipment immediately following the game at the high school. Please bring a change of clothes to go home in. A locker room will be provided to change out of game gear.

Both 8th Grade Teams will turn in equipment on Thursday in the locker room after school.

Just some reminders about practice and games this week.

7th grade practice will be from 3–5 at the middle school. Please arrive early and enter through the back doors so you can change into practice gear before practice.

8th grade practice is from 12–2 for both teams at the middle school as well. Again, please arrive early and enter through the doors in the back to change and prepare for practice.

Wednesday both grade levels will play against Muskegon at our high school. 7th grade will report to the field dressed and ready to begin warm-up at 4:15. Game time is at 5:00. we will wear blue home game jerseys.

The 8th grade game will begin after the 7th grade game, so around 6:15. 8th grade players should report by 5:00 to watch the 7th grade game for the first half on the sidelines.

there is no practice on Thursday or Friday this week for either level.

To purchase tickets for our game at West Ottawa this Tuesday please use the following link as West Ottawa Athletics is doing CASHLESS ticketing for all their ticketed sporting events. Tickets are three dollars for adults and students are free.

We have all three teams in action again this week.

7th Grade is TUESDAY at West Ottawa. We play at Harbor Lights Middle School (1024 136th Ave, Holland, MI 49424) Game time is 5:00. Bus will leave after school at 3:25.

8th Grade BLUE to Wyoming (1350 Prairie Pkwy SW, Wyoming, MI 49509) on Wednesday. Game time is 5:00. Bus departs after school 3:15.

8th Grade WHITE to Jenison(8295 20th Ave, Georgetown Twp, MI 49428) on Wednesday as well. Game time is 6:15. Bus leaves at 4:30.

Sailor Families and Fans:

Quick update for the week. We finally have a home game! Both the 7th and 8th Grade Teams will play Reeths-Puffer at Mona Shores High School. The 8th Grade will be playing together as one team this week. BOTH TEAMS WILL WEAR BLUE JERSEYS.

The 7th Grade game will begin at 5:00. Players report to the field dressed and ready at 4:15.

The 8th Grade game will begin immediately after the 7th Grade. (6:15ish) Players report to the field between 5:15-5:30.

Please be aware that each player is responsible for his own transportation to the high school and for bringing their own equipment for the game! There is no bus before or after the game to transport players or equipment. Please plan accordingly!

Due to poor field conditions along with trying to keep game equipment dry, we are canceling practice for all 7th & 8th Grade Teams.

Both 8th Grade Teams are to meet with Coach Fox in the weightroom immediately after school. Please plan on picking up players around 3:30-3:45.

The 7th Grade Team will not meet after school. Please plan transportation home immediately after school.

Bus and Game times for tomorrow are again as follows:

7th Grade Bus at 3:15 with game at 5:00. We will wear BLUE jerseys to school and for the game.

Both 8th Grade Teams leave at 4:15 with game times at 6:15. Both 8th Grade Teams will wear WHITE jerseys to school and for the game.

Sailor Families and Fans:

We have a busy week ahead as ALL 3 teams are in action this Wednesday.

8th Grade Blue is at Caledonia High School at 6:15. Bus leaves at 4:15. Players will wear WHITE jerseys.

East Kentwood has asked that one of our teams wears our blue jerseys despite being the visiting team. So,

7th Grade is at East Kentwood High School at 5:00. Bus leaves at 3:15. Players will wear BLUE jerseys.

8th Grade White is at East Kentwood High School at 6:15. Bus leaves at 4:15. Players will wear WHITE jerseys.

We also have pictures on Thursday at the beginning of practice. ALL LEVELS WILL WEAR BLUE JERSEYS. So 7th Grade Parents, please wash the game jerseys after Wednesday's game. Picture forms will be sent home tomorrow.
