Smillie Studio LLC Smillie Studio is a pottery studio offering classes and workshops for adults, as well as pottery parties for groups of all ages.

The owner and teacher is Tatum Smillie, a Michigan certified art teacher with 10+ years' experience teaching ceramics.

After 10 years of being a basement home pottery studio with 30+ members at any given time, I’ve rented a space!! It’s in the Points strip mall on Sternberg and Old Grand Haven Rd. I’ll be opening officially this fall but I’m hoping to have current members attending the new space by August.

I’m am so excited for what this means for the studio, and I will finally have room for all the people on my waiting lists! Great things to come!

I’m also looking forward to some much needed work life balance! Having our house back will be good for the whole family.
