📢ALL-COUNTY FALL SALE WEEKEND for WORTH COUNTY📢
📢Libraries, city offices, non-profits, small businesses, and enthusiastic community members from all Worth County towns are invited to participate in organizing and compiling sales information for this inaugural Worth County Wide Fall Sale. Communities include Northwood, Kensett, Fertile, Hanlontown, Grafton, Bolan, Manly, townships, and surrounding areas. If you have items to sell, the last weekend in September is the time to do it!
To register your sale, please email [email protected] or [email protected], send a private message on Facebook to FUNK Fellowship for United Northwood-Kensett or HWY 65 Sales, or text 641-390-1824 with: Name of Sale, Location, Date & Times, and a brief description of items for sale.
Each participant is responsible for printing their own lists and promoting their sales within their communities and surrounding areas.
P.S. Volunteers to create a map of all participating sales would be greatly appreciated, though we currently do not have the resources to produce one ourselves

Kinney Memorial Library and FUNK Fellowship for United Northwood-Kensett will be hosting the Worth County Park & Play Imagination Playground at the Hanlontown Park during Summer Reading Program Story Hour from 10am-12pm tomorrow Wednesday, July 22nd
There will be Dino Bones, Tabletop blocks with interactive blooks, and of course the Big Blue Blocks for building whatever your imagination dreams up. Join your friends and family for a fun morning at the Hanlontown Park.

It is that time of year again! Thank you for a wonderful summer with FUNK Fellowship for United Northwood-Kensett and Worth County Park & Play as we shared the Imagination Playground with area VBS Programs, Libraries, Community Events, and Public Park Pop-Ups for kids of all ages to enjoy.
We are now gearing up for the school year and transition into the NK After School K-5 Program which is going to have a different twist this year. We are going to have individual sign-up events throughout the year to give more opportunities to children to pick and choose the events they would enjoy the most.
Here is our programs Amazon Wish List to assist with the upcoming school year plans we have in the works. Your generosity will make our NK After School K-5 Program available to students at little or no cost. Thank you so much!
Our first event will be Monday, October 12th with an outing to the Otter Creek Orchard with transportation available via Neil's On Wheels and Worth County Conservation Naturalist, Owen Burrack. This will be an event with registration beginning in September and with a minimal cost to participants, to cover the cost of transportation and venue rental. Stay tuned for registration beginning September 1st. Limited space available.

In my estimation, if there is a People's Choice award for the Best Entry in Northwood's 4th of July Parade, this entry stood head and shoulders above the rest. It was a unique, patriotic, and ingenious display. I was extremely impressed. I hope to see this entry featured in all of the area parades. Our group was particularly entertained by the candy shooting from the tank cannon, which was super fun for the children. Superb performance! You embodied the essence of the 250th Independence Day celebration parade. 🎉🎊👏💥
