Good calf housing isn't a replacement for good management. The feeding, cleaning, checking calves and everyday routines still have to happen.

What good housing can do is make those jobs easier.

That's really what our Calf Stalls are built around, giving calves a clean, comfortable space while making it easier for the people caring for them to stay consistent with the routines that are already working.

We talked more about that in our latest article, including what we can learn from operations seeing really strong calf health and survival.

Part of the "Built to Perform. Built to Last." series, exploring long-term performance in early calf environments. Zero calf loss is an outcome every producer would welcome. But it does...

Meet the Team Monday: Laney! 👋

If you’ve called ADA Enterprises with a question about an order, needed help figuring something out, or just weren’t quite sure who you needed to talk to, there’s a good chance Laney has helped you out.

She’s one of the friendly voices behind our customer service team and the person who somehow always knows who to ask, where to look, or how to get a problem solved.

There are a lot of moving pieces around here, and we’re pretty thankful to have Laney helping keep them all straight, and taking good care of our customers along the way.

We’re proud to have been part of Eagle Creek Colony’s new farrow-to-finish facility in Saskatchewan. A project of this size takes a lot of planning, experience and teamwork, and it’s exciting to see it all come together.

Swineweb.com gives a great inside look at the build, including the flooring, ventilation, animal flow and all the details that go into making a facility like this work.

Take a look at the full story below! 👇

INSIDE THE BUILD: 4.4 acres. Nearly 193,000 square feet. 183 miles of rebar. 1,150 sows. 750+ pigs a week.

Throwing it back to World Pork Expo because these people made our booth a little more fun. 🐷

If you stopped by the ADA Enterprises booth and grabbed a sign, you may have made the highlight reel!

We may be a few months past Expo, but we’re still smiling about the people, conversations and good times that came through booth V379.

Which sign would you have picked? 👀🐷

In the early 1980s, Eagle Creek Colony built their first sow barn and chose ADA flooring.

Unfortunately, that barn later burned down. When it came time to rebuild, they already knew what flooring they wanted, they chose ADA flooring again.

Decades later, we still think that says a lot.

Meet the Team Monday: Scott 👋

A lot has to keep running behind the scenes to keep our shop moving every day, and Scott is a big part of that.

As part of our maintenance team, he helps keep our equipment, machinery and facility in working order so the rest of our crew can keep building and getting orders out the door.

If something needs fixed, adjusted or figured out around the shop, there’s a good chance Scott has had a hand in it.

We’re about a week out from the Wisconsin Summer Championship Show in Madison!

If you’re headed to the show, stop by and talk calves with Jake. He’ll be there to answer questions, talk through what we’ve been working on and show you what’s new with our calf housing.

Hope to see you in Madison!

The Iowa State Fair kicked off this week, and if you find yourself near the swine barns or dairy cattle buildings, take a minute and look at the details.

Clean pens. Good footing. Comfortable animals.

Those things don't happen by accident. They're the same things we think about every day on our shop floor here in Northwood.

Different part of the state, same focus on taking good care of the animals that keep Iowa agriculture moving.
