We kicked off the Summer Reading Program last week with the kids at summer school. Our theme was the 4th of July and activities included red, white and blue suncatchers, edible bracelets, fireworks paintings, streamer fireworks, and colored rice star art. We also read a book about dinosaurs in preparation for the theme for the rest of the summer, "Unearth A Story." I hope everyone will join us for our next activity on July 8th @ 10am in the downtown park. Stop in the library to pick up a reading log or reading tracker and see how many books you can read in the month of July! Details along with the other dates for activities are in the last picture below.
