This Thursday, April 23rd is our 20th Annual Children’s Exhibit from 5:30-7:30 pm at Old Village School. We will have artwork from every class in our program along with food and dessert trucks, live chalk artists, a photo booth, and a collaborative art experience. We are looking forward to using this opportunity to support the Art Cart at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. We will be accepting supply and monetary donations at the event. Can’t wait to see you there!

As Week of the Young Child comes to a close, we’re feeling really grateful 💛

It was a week full of music, cooking, teamwork, creativity, and time with families.

More than anything, it was a reminder of how much learning happens in the simple, everyday moments. We’re so thankful for our staff, families, and the children who make this work so meaningful.

We are excited to announce that Mrs. James is officially a HighScope Certified Teacher! To earn this certification, Mrs. James completed the Preschool Quality Assessment (PQA) process and submitted required documentation, including lesson plans, Child Observation Records (COR), and a professional narrative.

All of our preschool classrooms are now fully implementing the HighScope curriculum, providing a consistent and intentional approach to early childhood learning. With continued support from our Early Childhood Specialist, teachers use HighScope strategies to promote active learning and meaningful child engagement. Although many educators use the HighScope curriculum, certification reflects an added level of professional growth and commitment. We are proud of Mrs. James’ dedication to the curriculum and look forward to supporting additional teachers as they pursue certification!

Once upon time…our families came together for the most enchanting literary night yet! ✨📖 Thank you for filling our fairytale-themed literacy night with laughter, imagination, and community. From the book fair to the puppetshow, every moment was magical. The next chapter begins soon - join us for Preschool Open House next week, Thursday March 5th from 5-6 pm at each preschool location. Also mark your calendars for the 2026-27 school year registration opening March 6th🌈
