Wishing the Wayne State University Medical School students all the best on their upcoming MCAT test!

Horizon Learning Solutions was engaged to provide instruction for a 6 Week MCAT Prep Pilot Training Program for post degree pre-med students. The course was well organized, the instructors were well prepared, and they very knowledgeable in test taking preparation, skills and strategies. They provided group and individual instructions to the students inside and outside of the virtual classroom. The students found their exam taking techniques very helpful. As the programs Co-director, I would recommend Horizon Learning Solutions MCAT preparation as a great supplement to the traditional MCAT Prep Programs.

Good day all,
We hope you are healthy and safe! As you may already know, many schools (public and private) have announced that they will be doing remote teaching for the fall semester. We have received a number of phone calls and emails requesting help with school related Math, Algebra, English, and related subjects. We are excited to announce that we are creating pods of no more than eight students each to help students with both - school and ACT/SAT.

You can also form a group of eight or less with your classmates and friends and we will customize a pod for you. Together, we will get through these challenging times - successfully!

Hello all!

We hope you are healthy and safe!

Here is some information we would like to share with you.
The College Board and ACT Inc have released tentative plans for testing in 2020.

When will I be able to write my SAT in 2020?
The College Board will run tests every month starting in August. Below are the upcoming test dates for the rest of the calendar year.

August 29
September 26
October 3
November 7
December 5

If schools don't reopen in the fall, the College Board will offer online, at-home version of the SAT for students.

Will there be another SAT School Day?
Schools that administer the annual SAT School Day will hold another test day in the fall, though the date has not yet been determined.

When will I be able to write my ACT in 2020?
The ACT is currently set to go ahead with the June 13th date. However, they will contact students and teachers directly with updates, cancellations, or changes beginning the week of May 26th.

What about my college application?
Each college is handling this differently. Your best option is to contact the admissions departments for more information.

Regardless of when you are planning to take the test, the key to doing well is constant practice. Carve out time each day to practice - not just practice but go over all the questions you get wrong and go over the answers and understand them. We are only a phone call, email, and/or text away.
