✨ Threes
This class supports children in building social connections, developing trust with teachers, becoming comfortable with daily routines, and exploring experiences beyond their home and family.

✨ Fours
A wonderful blend of hands-on exploration and traditional skill-building to get little learners ready and confident for Kindergarten.

✨ Young Fives
Perfect for children who just missed the Kindergarten cut-off, or who could benefit from an extra year to grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively before making that big leap.

Our Young Threes had a delightful start to spring by engaging in various creative activities. They painted flowers using flower petals, crafted beautiful spring blossoms using tissue, explored the textures of feathers through painting, and had a hands-on experience with our flower sensory bin. Additionally, they enjoyed reading captivating stories about flowers and trees.

Do you have a little one who will be one or two years old by September 1, 2026? We're excited to announce that registration for our Ward Preschool Adult/Child fall classes opens soon. Current families, alumni, and Ward Church members can register on Tuesday, April 14. Registration for new families begins on Wednesday, April 15. With deep sadness, we share that our beloved Senior Pastor, Dr. Scott McKee, has passed away. We invite our community to join us in prayer for his family, our staff, and our church during this time of loss.

The Spunky Monkeys 1/2 day Fours learned about the five senses this month. During one of our lessons regarding sight, we read the story Lucy’s Picture. It is about a little girl who wants to make her grandpa a picture at school using items from the scrap box while the other children used paint. At the end of the story we learn that she wanted to use scrap box items because her grandpa is blind. We made pictures in class with scrap box items so others could “see” the picture with their hands.

We had a special reader, Miss Allysha from the Livonia Transition Program, come in and read to us in braille. The children were then able to feel the braille books and a letter/number guide. We also found braille around our school that we were able to feel. A few students made a special picture for Miss Allysha.
