In a world where connection is often filtered through screens, this is something real.
This year’s High School Spirit Week was student-driven from start to finish—filled with collaboration, creativity, and genuine connection. Each grade brought their strengths, from athletic competitions to performances and friendly academic challenges, but what stood out most wasn’t who won—it was how students showed up for one another.
Laughter, teamwork, and shared experiences turned the week into something more: a reminder that a healthy social life is built through presence, participation, and community. 🎉✨

In Waldorf education, history isn’t just studied, it’s experienced.
Our 6th Grade class stepped into the world of the Middle Ages through the tradition of the Medieval Games, now known as the “Rising Warrior Games.” As an introduction to their history block, students didn’t just read about the era; they entered it.
Through events like javelin and other medieval challenges, students built strength, focus, and resilience. while practicing the values at the heart of the time period: honor, courage, and respect. Rooted in the spirit of knightly codes, the games offer something rare today: a chance to embody history, not just memorize it. ⚔️✨

In Waldorf education, learning doesn’t just live in books, it comes alive on stage.
Our 3rd Grade class brought their studies to life through the tradition of the pedagogical play, performing The Rainbow Weavers, adapted from the The Rainbow Weaver. After a four-week deep dive into textiles, clothing, and the history of fibers, students didn’t just learn about weaving, they embodied it.
Inspired by the rich traditions of Mayan and Indigenous cultures of Guatemala and Central Mexico, the performance wove together storytelling, song, and movement. Students sang in Spanish, performed a folk dance, and even wore aprons they designed and sewed themselves.
In a world of passive consumption, this is something else entirely: learning through doing, creating, and connecting across cultures. 🧵✨

Join us in celebrating our students in grades 10–12 who ranked among the top percentiles in the National German Exam—an achievement that reflects not just strong listening and reading skills, but the deeper rewards of studying a world language.
Learning German opens the door to new ways of thinking, greater cultural understanding, and sharper cognitive skills—benefits that go far beyond the classroom. In a world that often prioritizes speed and surface-level learning, this is depth, connection, and true global perspective.
Students earning “Gold” scored in the top 10% nationwide—an outstanding accomplishment. Bravo, sehr gut gemacht! 🇩🇪✨

In 7th grade history, the Renaissance isn’t just something students read about—it’s something they create. Inspired by masters like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael, each student recreated a work of art, bringing history to life through their own hands and imagination.
In a world where learning often happens on screens, this is something different—deep focus, artistic practice, and a tangible connection to the past. 🎨✨
