Yesterday felt like a surreal dream walking around an empty school. And knowing it will be a different reality for all our children, at least for...who knows how long...in our current, new, normal! 🙏🏾🌈💜

I miss seeing and hugging and being silly with these yummy children!

I can still hear the delightful echoes of laughter and singing of our sweet babes (younger and older), their sheer silliness, and pure shenanigans!! 🤪
The bubbling of all sorts of conversations happening, squabbles and delicate play at recess, events being planned, parent and faculty meetings taking place, and so on...

As manager of The Treehouse, our precious school store, and social hub, I get to witness all these various activities throughout the day, from a gorgeous outdoor location, breathing in the fresh air, building my immunity, and consciously connecting with our community! 🙏🏾♥️

It is this knowing which makes it all the more tender, as our school communities become such a crucial part of our human experience. 💜

So, my daughter (who worked so diligently 💕), and I, spent yesterday preparing a small gesture of our love for all the students we miss seeing every day!! (sponsored by the Parent Association)

So tomorrow at dropoff/pickup, families can come to get their FREE goodie snack bags!

Just a little something to give back, and put a smile on a child’s and parent’s face! 💜
Now, that’s the best medicine!!!
