TK had a special visitor today! After they made crosses and decorated them, TK talked about where they could hang their crosses in their house. Most of our coyote cubs said they want to put theirs in their bedroom or living room. Fr. David then visited to answer any more questions they had about the cross, and then blessed them with holy water. TK thought that being sprinkled with holy water was the BEST thing ever!

Which member of our faculty and staff is most likely to go on a fun field trip with her students…but secretly have even more fun than they do? It’s our birthday girl, Ms. Copeland! Whether she's leading the way or joining right in on the fun, you can bet Ms. Copeland is having just as much fun as everyone else! A very special thank you to all of our grandparents who joined us on Friday for Grandparents Day! Your love, wisdom, stories, and presence are such a beautiful gift to our children and our Lourdes family. We are so grateful for the generations who help shape, guide, and inspire our Coyotes. What a blessing it is to celebrate the saints in all of you!

Twenty-five years later, we remember. Amid the devastation of September 11, 2001, this Callery pear tree was found buried at Ground Zero; its bark charred, its branches burned and broken. Yet it was still alive, still bearing leaves. Nurtured back to health, this tree grew new branches and, in 2010, was replanted at the 9/11 Memorial. Today, it blooms each spring as the Survivor Tree, a living symbol of resilience and hope.

We remember those we lost. We remember those who responded. We honor those whose lives were forever changed. And we carry forward the hope that even from brokenness, new growth is possible. Never Forget.
