Beginning Tuesday, April 20 students will receive an invitation to take CSUN’s health survey, the online and confidential National College Health Assessment (NCHA). The NCHA provides valuable information about the health of CSUN students and helps design programs and services in response.
Students should check their CSUN email for an email from William Watkins, Vice President, Student Affairs asking them to “Please Take CSUN’s Health Survey”. Each student will receive a unique survey link that cannot be shared. Those who submit a survey will be entered to win one of either a $250 or $50 Campus Store gift card (12 prizes available).

The contest: Open now to CSUN students, the Academy of American Poets Prize Competition is now accepting submissions for the 2021 award. The CSUN student winner will receive a cash prize from the Academy of American Poets and publication in the Northridge Review. One honorable mention will also be awarded.
Important: The AAP is pleased to announce the Aliki Perroti and Seth Frank most promising young poet award. Students 23 years-old or younger who have won the AAP prize will be considered for an additional $1000 award.
To enter:
1. Submit one to three poems, accompanied by a cover sheet, to the CSUN canvas page academy of american poets here. Make sure that you join the canvas class to access the submission link. Poems may be any length or style.
2. Your name should not appear on the poems. Please include a cover sheet with your name, address, phone number, email address, and the titles of the poems you are submitting.
3. All work must be typed and submitted in a single word doc. The cover sheet will be separated from the poems before we send them to the national judge.
Submissions are judged anonymously.
The winners will be announced in May.
Deadline: Friday, April 23, 5 p.m.
