Core Prep Academy

Core Prep Academy CORE Preparatory Academy is the Premier Sports Academy for Middle School Athletes. We have two partner schools.

Heritage Christian School in Los Angeles and Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas. CORE Preparatory Academy (CPA) provides a high level-learning environment for student-athletes in middle school to excel in the classroom as well as in their sport. CPA's overall goal is to develop student athletes to their full potential in the classroom as well as their sport of play. Our core values are developed

in each student athlete through our professional level sports training and life skills program. Our CORE Values

Being a Hybrid School Program, CPA students will benefit from taking their core courses (English, Math, Science, History) on campus at Heritage Christian School, a college preparatory k-12 private school. Bible, Life Skills, and Physical Education courses will be given by CPA to fulfill all academic requirements. CPA is an opportunity for the student to optimize time in the classroom and take advantage spending more time on training throughout the day.

We are thrilled to officially announce CJ Cooper as the new Lead Basketball Coach at Core Prep @ St. John Lutheran. Coach Cooper brings a wealth of knowledge, a high-level competitive background, and a passion for developing the next generation of student-athletes both on and off the court.

Big News: St. John’s Lutheran x Core Prep Academy 🎓🏀

We are excited to announce a new partnership bringing student-athletes elite development into to St. John’s Lutheran School in Orange, CA!

Starting in the 2026-27 school year, middle school students (Grades 6-8) can experience professional basketball training integrated directly into their school day.

* Elite Training: On-court development during regular school hours, performance training and life skills.

* Proven Success: Joining a program with a history of NCAA and NBA-level alumni.

* Open House: January 22nd at 6:30 PM.
