If you are interested in joing Ballet Folklórico Aztlan De CSUN, we will be having our informational meeting tomorrow!

The details are as followed:

Date: September 8th
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Jerome Richfield 118.

There is no specific dress code and no need to bring anything besides a note pad and a pen for notes, if you’d like.

At the meeting we will be discussing everything, ranging from attire, practices, and upcoming events. We will also have our E-Board speak, an ice breaker, and a short history on our group.

Snacks and drinks will be provided as well!

We are very excited to meet all of you! We also encourage you all to bring a friend! We are a CSUN organization, but our doors are also open to the community.

Community members are welcomed to join us!

If you cannot make it to the meeting, feel free to reply and we can answer any questions you may have regarding the club.

“FOLKLOR DE MEXICO” 14° CONCIERTO ANUAL DE MUSICA Y DANZA

NORTHRIDGE, CA- Todo el público esta cordialmente invitado a disfrutar en una noche maravillosa en el auditorio “Plaza del Sol” de California State University, Northridge donde celebraremos nuestro concierto anual de tradiciones Mexicanas, folklorico Mexicano/Chicana/o y música el día sábado 10 de junio del 2017.

El 14° concierto anual de Ballet Folklórico Aztlan de CSUN; “Folklor de México” tendrá el honor de presentar música en vivo y una gran diversidad de bailes regionales típicos de los estados de Nuevo Leon, Sinaloa, Chiapas, Nayarit y Yucatan. En nuestra lista de participantes se encuentran: Ballet Folklórico Aztlán de CSUN, Tradición Dance Company, Resurrección Mexican Folk de Rafael Valpuesta, Sergio Cardenas y Los Cordiales y Banda La Prohibida. Entre nuestros patrocinadores se encuentran el Departamento de Estudios Chicanos, Educational Opportunity Program, (AS) Associated Students y (USU) University Student Union.

El espectáculo se llevará a cabo durante las 6:00 p.m. y 8:30 p.m. en el auditorio Plaza Del Sol de California State University, Northridge, el cual se encuentra localizado en el 18111 Nordhoff Street en Northridge. Los boletos de entrada pueden adquirirse en persona en la oficina de boletos de Associated Students en CSUN o través de Ticket Master (por internet o en persona). Para cualquier pregunta con respecto a las horas de la oficina de boletos o límites de boletos, por favor llame al número (818) 677-2488. Boletos para niños menores de 5 años de edad y estudiantes con identificación de la escuela se venderán a $17 cada uno. Boletos para la audiencia general se venderán a $22 cada uno.
