At Northport Public School, our teachers are so much more than educators. They are mentors, encouragers, problem-solvers, cheerleaders, and steady sources of care for our children every single day.

From the parents and students of our school community: THANK YOU.

Thank you for the long hours, the patience, the extra encouragement, the high expectations, and the deep belief you hold for every student who walks through
your classroom doors. Thank you for creating a school where academic excellence and genuine compassion exist side-by-side.

In our small rural community, resources are not always abundant, but love and commitment are. Our teachers notice when a student needs an extra pair of socks, a breakfast buddy, a quiet moment, or simply an extra hug. They know our children personally, celebrate their successes, and help carry them through difficult days. Those relationships matter more than words can fully express.

We also want our teachers to know this clearly: your efforts are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated. We recognize the heart, energy, and dedication you pour into our students every day.

We trust you with the people we love most, and we are grateful beyond measure for the care you give them.

With all of that being said, we believe our students say it best. Over the next few posts, we’ll be sharing their thoughts and reflections about the teachers and staff who make Northport Public School such a special place.

Thank you to all who helped make our Elementary Spring Dance a success! We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to boogie down next time.

Got kids ready for kindergarten? Be sure to contact the school about kindergarten roundup on May 8th mid-day and join us for our Movie Night Potluck where we’ll be showing Coco starting at 5pm!
