If you or someone you know needs a warm place tonight, the Tuscaloosa County EMA is working alongside the Compassion Coalition to operate warming stations. Please call the number provided below for assistance.

A warming station serves as a temporary emergency shelter, offering a warm and dry place for those in need during cold weather. Warming stations will be operational from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM, now through Friday.

If you or someone you know needs assistance in Tuscaloosa County only, please call 205-349-0150 and provide the following information:

Your name

A callback number

Your current location in Tuscaloosa County

The number of people requesting shelter

Please refrain from calling the warming station number to inquire about donations at this time.

Any families who would like to apply for assistance with buying Christmas for your family theough Toys for Tots, please visit https://tuscaloosa-al.toysfortots.org/local-coordinator-sites/lco-sites/default.aspx?nPageID=0&nPreviewInd=0&nRedirectInd=3 to complete the application. Once on the website, click request a toy and fill out all information needed. If you have a child who is not born yet, they will not be eligible. Also, please be sure to include in special needs in the comments (i.e. epilepsy, Autism, physical handicaps, Down Syndrome).

September is Attendance Awareness Month.
We will be sharing tips and various research facts to help increase school attendance. 🚌🎓📚✂️📓📆

Absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year. Half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school

This week, we celebrated a great year with our 5th grade rambassadors. Mrs. Harper, Mrs. Boothe, and Mrs. Bynum took them on a field trip to Bowlero to celebrate their hard work. They have shown leadership in many ways this year! We are proud of them demonstrating the RAMS way in their jobs. Thank you for a great year!
