🎶 We always have so much fun at the Spring Dance! It’s one of our favorite events of the year! It is so good to see and dance with our teachers and friends from our high schools. Thanks to Amanda Elmore and the Circle of Friends at Valley View Baptist Church for another amazing event! 🎶

We had such a wonderful time visiting Eagles Wings yesterday!

We learned all about their hydroponic greenhouse, tasted fresh romaine lettuce, and even planted new seeds ourselves. We also learned that after harvesting, they distribute their lettuce to restaurants and businesses both within and beyond the community.

We also toured their future horse therapy barn, which is currently being built. It is going to be absolutely beautiful! We’re already looking forward to coming back to meet the horses once everything is complete.

Overall, it was a beautiful, educational, and fun day. A special thank you to Mr. Jerry, Ms. April, and to the “Joey’s Finest Lettuce” crew, Ms. Linda, Dana, Josh and Nathan. We truly appreciate your time and hospitality.

What a ☀️ beautiful ☀️ day at 🌳Camp Boothe🌳 We spent time learning new skills and working together to get things ready for an upcoming event. From setting up tables and chairs to helping prepare food, everyone pitched in. We also tackled some spring cleaning-changing cabin air filters and even working with new outdoor equipment. It was a productive and fun day!

We are honored to share that TCSS Step 2 Adulthood has been named the 2026 Alabama CASE Program of the Year!

In just three years, the program has grown from a visionary team to now fulfilling two classrooms providing hands-on transition training for young adults ages 18–21, focused on building independence, life skills, and successful pathways to adulthood.

Our team is passionate about sharing this work across Alabama and supporting other districts in growing transition opportunities for students.
