Hillcrest Elementary School

Hillcrest Elementary School At Hillcrest, we are reaching new heights, working together to believe, achieve, and succeed!

With high academic and behavioral expectations, Hillcrest Elementary inspires students to reach new heights through belief, achievement and success. Hillcrest provides students with a caring, safe, considerate and respectful learning environment. Parents, teachers and students work together to maintain Hillcrest’s positive learning environment and to develop good citizenship. Through the schoolwide PBS (Positive Behavior Support) program, staff teach positive behavior expectations to students and recognize positive student contributions. Students know exactly what is expected of them and they take responsibility for their actions. In the classroom, students work cooperatively and independently to solve problems. As a result of Hillcrest’s positive learning environment and rigorous academic standards, students develop into caring, considerate and high-achieving citizens who want to further their education.

Happy National Hispanic Heritage Month! Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated between Sept. 15 and Oct. 15.

It celebrates the cultures and histories of people with heritage from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

It's also a way to honor the many achievements and contributions by Hispanic people in the United States and around the world, some of which we have in the hallway and are sharing facts about on the announcements.
