HCE Family Friday! We LOVE full weeks together at Hillcrest! This week, our 2nd graders visited the Arvada Center to see "Junie B. Jones" and our classrooms were buzzing with learning.

HCE Family Friday! It was another great week at Hillcrest! Our second graders were learning all about mixtures, kindergarteners were busy in the daily routine of working on their writing skills, and fifth graders partnered up to help one another in math.

This week back was packed full for our Hillcrest Hornets! Our 5th graders put their skills to work at Young Ameritowne, kindergarteners showed off their artwork, and Mrs. Fiorenza, our principal, was the secret guest reader in third grade!

Excited to be back for “HCE Family FRIDAY”! This week has been joyful as we are focusing on “positivity” school wide, with an additional focus on being grateful!
Joyful moments included 2nd graders reading to kinder buddies, 5th graders sewing emojis, recognizing students who exemplify “positivity” and lunch with friends!

Don’t miss it! Our annual Celebration of Learning event is tomorrow, May 15th, from 5:30-7pm. There will be hot dogs, Kona Ice, festival games, a dunk tank, and an inflatable obstacle course! Can’t wait to see you there.
