Ruby had some fun summer adventures with Griff on the Go!

💚💜Kindergarten Celebration 💜💚
We are thrilled to welcome all of these kindergarteners to The Studio School. Our 5th graders welcomed the new kindergarteners by gifting them flowers this morning. We can't wait to see these students learn and grow this year!

Griff was on the go with Grace, Zane, Nick, Zeke, Charlie and Jasmine. He was lucky enough to go on an Alaskan cruise and went to Water World. These were great adventures during the summer break!

Our first day of school was full of laughter, fun and new beginnings. It was great to see all of our fabulous students back in our halls and classrooms.
Thanks to PTO and our parent volunteers for making today so special. It’s going to be an epic school year.

Hi my name is Lisa Gessini (Jess ee nee). I am a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). I retired from DPS and decided to keep working in the schools. I love what I do. Before I became an SLP I enjoyed working in the performing arts. I have a degrees in Theatre and Radio and Television Broadcasting. I worked at Studio about 5 years ago as a sub and had the best time. I worked in DPS with Miss Cavallaro and we are friends. It is exciting to return to work again at Studio and there are still some folks working who were here when I was here! I love the arts and the students who love them !

Please welcome our new Instructional Coach, Mrs. Anderson.

Michelle Anderson is celebrating her 44th year as an educator, with a career dedicated to supporting both students and teachers. She has more than 11 years of experience as an instructional coach, including four years specializing in mathematics. Her coaching experience includes roles with Woodglen Elementary, EdConnective, the International School of Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago, and Greeley School District 6. Prior to coaching, Michelle taught elementary and special education students across a variety of grade levels in Greeley School District 6 and Douglas County School District.

Michelle believes that when teachers experience the joy of learning, their students do too. She loves working alongside educators as they try new ideas, reflect on their practice, and celebrate growth together, creating classrooms where curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning can flourish.

Michelle is married, the proud mother of four adult children, and grandmother to three grandchildren. Outside of education, she enjoys traveling with her amazing husband and spending time with her family.
