Yesterday we celebrated our Grand Prize Drawing winner! 🎉

For every box of chocolates sold, students earned an entry into the grand prize drawing. But this wasn’t just luck — Jameson absolutely crushed this fundraiser! With the incredible support of his family, he sold an amazing 44 boxes of chocolate. 🍫👏

Congratulations, Jameson, and thank you for helping support our school! We are so proud of your hard work and dedication!

Last Wednesday, May 13th, we celebrated our fabulous volunteers! 🌻 Their time, dedication, and love make such a difference for our students and school, and we couldn’t let the year end without saying a huge THANK YOU. With summer on our minds, we showered them with sunflowers because they are truly a ray of sunshine in our school community and deserve it all! ☀️💛

Late post alert! 🎉 Our amazing Girls on the Run team completed their 5K on May 9th, and we couldn’t be more proud! Watching our girls encourage, support, and lift each other up every step of the way was truly inspiring. Way to go, girls — you did an incredible job! 🏃‍♀️

Our wonderful Honor Choir students did an amazing job at the district concert on May 4th! We are so proud of their hard work, talent, and dedication. Way to represent Leroy with pride! 🎶🦁

Last night, some of our 4th and 5th grade Lions roared at the district Battle of the Books—and wow, did they shine! 📚🦁 Their hard work, teamwork, and love of reading truly showed. We are beyond proud of our amazing readers! 🎉👏

Yesterday our 4th grade Lions had a forecast full of fun! 🌦️🦁

They got the incredible opportunity to learn all about weather from Joe Ruch of CBS News, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From understanding storms to even making snow, our students were fully engaged the entire time! ❄️

Who knows… we might have some future meteorologists in the making! 🌪️🌈

🐄 We even had a special visitor today… the Chick-fil-A Cow stopped by at the end of the school day to get everyone excited! Be sure to ask your students about it!

Last Thursday, April 16th, Leroy came alive with laughter, learning, and a whole lot of Pug-tastic fun! 🐷🎉

Students and families joined us for our Pug the Pig Carnival Night, where the excitement was nonstop! From creative crafts to engaging literacy activities inspired by the Pig the Pug books, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 📚✨

Of course, it wouldn’t be a carnival without some classic treats—families enjoyed hotdogs 🌭 and popcorn 🍿 (because you really can’t go wrong with that combo!).

To top off the night, every child went home with their very own Pug the Pig book in English or Spanish—keeping the joy of reading going long after the carnival ended. ❤️📖
