We are proud to announce that Westview has earned a “Performance” rating on the most recent School Performance Framework (SPF)—the highest rating a school can achieve! Even more exciting, our current data represents our strongest performance since 2016!

Our staff wore green today to celebrate. “Performance” on the SPF is green!

And a special shout out to Tamale Kitchen who donated 80 breakfast burritos today so we could celebrate as a staff!

Our courtyards are in full bloom at WVE! We were lucky enough to receive these beautiful signs from Ben's Laser Art and Design as a donation to add to our space. Thank you to Ben's Laser Art and Design!

Let’s give a warm wildcat welcome to our new music teacher, Ms. Hale!

“Hello Westview families! My name is Malaika Hale (she/her) and I am thrilled to join this incredible community as the new music teacher. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of the Arts in Music Education from Luther College and have taught in many settings, including a school in Honduras.. As a musician I am primarily a vocalist and have participated in choirs for years. I am also so excited about all the instruments available at Westview and working them into our class curriculum. I strive to make music accessible and fun for students of all ages and abilities. When not teaching, I enjoy spending time in the mountains with a good book, or at home with my cats. I can not wait to meet everyone soon and learn more about this amazing community.”

Please give a warm Westview Wildcat welcome to our new school psychologist Ms. Makayla Cruz!

“My name is Makayla Cruz and I am thrilled to be joining the team at Westview for my first year as a school psychologist. Originally from the DFW area of Texas, I have called the Denver metro area home for three years now. I completed my internship here in Adams 12 and recently graduated from the University of Denver. I feel incredibly lucky to begin my career in a district that has already felt like home! When I'm not at school, you'll usually find me spending time with my cats, crafting, reading, trying new coffee shops, or enjoying live music. I can't wait to get to know our school community this year. Go Wildcats!
