The Thorncreek 5K is designed with your family in mind. The race begins at 8:00am on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Thank you!!

The annual ThornCreek 5K fundraiser brings the students and the community together for a fun and rewarding event. All profits earned from the race will go directly to the school, for the purchase of new musical instruments, art supplies, athletic equipment and much more. The fruit of your donations will be seen in many areas of the school. By participating in the ThornCreek 5K, you help provide a brighter future for our students, teachers, families and community.

Race day is finally here!!! Race starts at 845am. Registration will be open until 830am onsite. Racers arrive as early as 8. Allow plenty of time to park as space will be limited.

Packet Pickup BBQ Potluck: Friday September 4th 6-8pm.

Registered racers: Come join us for hamburgers and hotdogs Friday Sept 4th during packet pickup. Please bring a side to share.

Non registers Runners: if you are unable to register prior to packet pickup you can come and register during packet pickup and join us for some BBQ. Hope to see you then!!

Here is a bit of information to help clear up any questions that you may have.

WHEN is the race? SEPTEMBER 5th 8:45am

What is the PURPOSE? The annual Crusader Charge fundraiser brings the students and the community together for a fun and rewarding event. All profits earned from the race will go directly to Community Christian School, for the purchase of new musical instruments, art supplies, athletic equipment and much more. The fruit of your donations will be seen in many areas of the school.

What is our GOAL? Our goal is to have a minimum of 100 registered racers along with donations to raise $5,000 minimum. The more support we have the more successful the race will be.

How can I help make it a SUCCESS? To have a minimum of 2 registered runners per student or donations of similar amount. One Volunteer represented from each student.

How can I make a DONATION? You can drop a check off in the drop box outside of Mr. Pavy's office labeled "5K Donation," mail it to the school directly, or visit the donation section of the 5K website at http://www.communitychristian5k.com/donations

Why are registrations/donations IMPORTANT? CCS fundraisers are put into place to help keep tuition costs down. Having a successful 5K will help with that as funds raised at the 5k will help offset some of the costs for needs and supplies at the school over the 2015-16 school year.

What if I can't race? Please consider to make a donation in the amount of a race registration, or any amount that works for your family.

****NEW THIS YEAR - Packet-Pick-up POTLUCK****: During packet pick-up on September 4th we will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. Come fellowship with other CCS families as we prepare for race day. Please bring a side to share. All Volunteers are welcome to join us at the packet pick-up.
