Northfield Adult Education - Dakota Prairie ABE We provide free English Language, GED, and basic literacy classes to adults 17 and older in a safe and welcoming environment.

Practice your English reading, writing, and speaking skills, or earn your GED, with others in the community! For more information on Northfield classes email [email protected]. Hybrid English classes are now available! You can attend in person or online from home. Classes are available in the morning and evening. We also have hybrid classes for GED! Please let us know if you are interested. 🙂

A huge THANK YOU to Northfield Shares for their generous $6,000 grant, which has allowed us to replace our outdated 2008 computers for our students (our I.T. Department thanks you as well!)

Because of this gift, we're now able to provide Official GED Testing as well as Beginning Computer classes, and to effectively integrate critical technology into our teaching.

Digital literacy is incredibly empowering, and allows learners to use technology safely and effectively for education, work, communicating with their child’s teacher or doctor, accessing services, applying for jobs, earning a GED, and advancing their lives in so many ways.
