Nearly 300 middle and high school students and educators joined Norwich University for Day of Cyber 2026, taking on two simulated Mars missions that brought cybersecurity, robotics, coding, and teamwork to life through hands-on challenges.

Held during Cybersecurity Awareness Month and World Space Week, this year’s event embraced the theme “Two Programs. One Mission. A Brighter Tomorrow.”

With support from Norwich’s Senator Patrick Leahy School of Cybersecurity and Advanced Computing, Norwich Cyber Institute, Department of Global Humanities, and Center for Cybersecurity and Forensics Education and Research, along with faculty, staff, and student volunteers from the Cyber Leader Development Program, students explored new skills, solved problems, and discovered what a future in cyber could look like.

The inaugural Association of Military Colleges & Schools of the United States (AMCSUS) Patriot Games brought the competition to our doorstep. Five military colleges. Six grueling challenges. One shot at the crown. 👑
