We held an hour-long workshop to teach basic signs to anyone interested! They learned how to introduce themselves (their name, grade, major and preferred pronouns) and started learning some basic and useful signs to communicate about plans, food, school, and more. We also heard from two students, Ben and Sarah who shared a bit about their personal stories of being a CODA (Child of a Deaf Adult) for Ben and being hard of hearing for Sarah. We had a lot of fun :)

ALSO if you want to learn some cool stuff about ASL grammar come to our meeting on Sunday at 2-3 in Willis 203. We'll also look at the differences between PSE and ASL. Hope to see y'all there!

Signing savvy is an online ASL video dictionary. You can use it for free, or for a more extended dictionary you can pay for the full version (ideally we would get a year-long subscription for $49.95).
