Carleton Summer Liberal Arts Institute The programs each focus on a liberal arts theme where students work one-on-one with Carleton faculty and current students in the classroom and research lab.

The Summer Liberal Arts Institute (SLAI) is an immersive summer learning experience for rising high school juniors and seniors to explore liberal arts through rigorous and experiential curriculum. The Carleton Summer Liberal Arts Institute hosts pre-college programs each summer to give high-achieving high school students the opportunity to live and learn on a small, liberal arts campus. Outside of

their coursework students are able to take part in activities and programming such as ultimate frisbee, campfires, board games, etc.
