¡Y así terminamos la Celebración de la Herencia Hispana 2026!
¡Gracias, Northfield, por ayudarnos a tejer esta comunidad un chin más juntitos! Desde la música y los bailes hasta la comida, el arte, las actividades y las conversaciones, esta celebración fue posible gracias a todas las personas que compartieron su cultura, sus talentos, sus historias y su tiempo. ¡Más de 2,000 personas vinieron a celebrar con nosotros! Y, por supuesto, ¡felicidades a Edith Ponciano, ganadora de nuestro concurso de tamales!
Un agradecimiento enorme a todos nuestros artistas, vendedores de comida y artesanías, socios comunitarios, voluntarios, familias y a todas las personas que nos acompañaron a celebrar. Estamos especialmente agradecidos con SEMAC y Friends of the Library por ser patrocinadores y por ayudarnos a hacer esta celebración posible. Cada uno de ustedes aportó un hilo al hermoso tejido que hace de nuestra comunidad lo que es.

From the music and dancing to the food, art, activities, and conversations, this celebration was made possible by the incredible people who showed up to share their culture, their talents, their stories, and their time. More than 2,000 people came out to celebrate with us! And of course, congratulations to Edith Ponciano, the winner of our tamale contest!
A huge thank you to all of our performers, food and craft vendors, community partners, volunteers, families, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. We’re especially grateful to SEMAC and Friends of the Library for sponsoring the event and helping us make this celebration possible. Each of you added a thread to the beautiful tapestry that makes our community what it is.
