Congratulations to our 2026 Homecoming King and Queen - Jamiere Davis and Hailey Sommer-Yurmanovich!

Jamiere Davis has made the most of his time at NHS as a varsity football and basketball player, he is involved in Student Council, National Honor Society and found member of FCA. He loves spending time on the golf course, but his favorite pastime is talking with people, making new connections, and making sure everyone feels included. Jamiere appreciates the support of NHS staff and the authentic relationships they build with students. One of his favorite memories is his freshman-year lip sync performance when he dunked a basketball. Next year, Jamiere plans to play college football while studying psychology or computer science.

Hailey has made her mark at NHS through four years as a class officer, a varsity softball letterman, and a member of National Honor Society. As Co-President of Pep Club and a member of Blood Cancer United, Hailey has embraced every opportunity to get involved and make a difference. She loves that there is truly “never a dull moment” at Nordonia, with so many opportunities for students to find their place and get involved. Her favorite memories include planning Spirit Week and Lip Sync Battles with friends and seeing the entire class come together to celebrate. After graduation, Hailey plans to earn a four-year degree in sports management and pursue a career in professional sports.

Guess who's "dotting the i" this coming Saturday at the Ohio State Football Game?! Nordonia's own Evan Kvach - Class of 2023!

A Nordonia Band alum, Evan has worked very hard over the last 4 years to accomplish this goal. He has been a member of the OSU marching band (TBDBITL) for 4 consecutive years, making the band on his first attempt as a freshman. This is rare and a testament to his outstanding training at NHS! He was assistant squad leader last year and promoted to head squad leader this year. In order to "dot the i", students have to make the band 4 years in a row and perform in a certain number of performances.

Evan is studying electrical engineering and will be graduating in May 2027 with his bachelor's degree. He was also recently accepted into the electrical engineering graduate program and will be finishing that in December of 2027. After that, the sky’s the limit!
We are so proud of you Evan! Go dot that i on Saturday - and in life - with all you've got!
