More from our Maine Knitting Retreat… from swatching up a storm to s’ mores, knitting in the Adirondack chairs by the water… great memories. Our tour of the island included the Sea Glass Beach, a highlight. Our last evening group shot .. what a wonderful group! Then getting ready to head back home. A big THANK YOU to David and Gregory for their thoughtful planning and organizing!

We made our way to the Inn at Diamond Cove for our Maine Knitting Retreat. It took a 30 minute ferry ride from Portland and we arrived to a welcome reception and dinner, all 23 of us. A good night’s sleep had us well rested for a day-long class on “reading our stitches”. Swatches to be posted later. While most of the day was rainy, the clouds broke in the evening for this rainbow.
