Tuesday was Field Day at St. Norbert School, and what a day it was! From water games and sports challenges to team relays and lots of laughter, students made memories that will last all summer long.

A HUGE thank you to all the parents, teachers, staff, and volunteers who planned, prepped, and helped make the day such a success.

As the school year comes to a close and our Eighth Graders move on to their next chapter, our Seventh Graders are stepping into their role as the leaders of St. Norbert School!

They recently enjoyed a special Buddy Party at the Northbrook Village Green with their Preschool buddies, filled with games, laughter, and plenty of fun. Throughout the year, these Seventh Graders have been wonderful role models and have built meaningful connections with their younger buddies.

We are proud of this class and look forward to watching them lead with kindness, confidence, and Crusader spirit in the year ahead!

Last Friday, we were delighted to welcome back members of the SNS Class of 2022, who recently celebrated their high school graduations.

They returned to reconnect with teachers, share memories, visit siblings, and spend time with our current Seventh Graders, offering advice and insight from their own journeys. We are certain that their stories inspired our younger students to embrace new opportunities and make the most of their time at SNS!

Moments like these are what make SNS so special. The bonds formed here last well beyond graduation, as one generation of students encourages and inspires the next. Congratulations to the SNS Class of 2022, and thank you for coming home to visit!

Our Sixth Graders have been working on a Science unit called Medical Detectives. They learned the importance of taking vital signs, including heart rate, respiratory rate, body temperature, and blood pressure. After practicing taking these vital signs on each other, the class broke into groups and designed experiments to test whether various relaxation techniques could lower heart rate or respiratory rate. By the end of the experiment, students had a better understanding of both vital signs and the scientific process. Well done!

Mrs. Anson’s Fifth Grade Class has been learning about the events that led up to the Revolutionary War. They staged a phenomenal reenactment of the Boston Tea Party for parents and guests last Friday afternoon and did a great job bringing the story to life!
