At the end of the Valley Aikido 30th Anniversary Memorial seminar, Sensei Yves Nazon ceremonially presented the dojo a wooden bokken crafted by Paul Sylvan Sensei as a gift to him. Thank you, Sensei Nazon for your generosity!

Thank you to everyone who came to train, teach, and share memories of Paul Sylvain sensei on our 30th Anniversary Memorial seminar. 🙏 We appreciate the great turnout and the sincerity and great spirit of everyone’s training.

Please join us to remember our teacher, Paul Sylvain Sensei, on the 30th Anniversary of his death. We are featuring an assortment of his students who went on to become teachers and have dojos of their own.

Registration will open at noon on Saturday and classes will start at 1pm with a party to follow. Sunday registration will open at 9am and classes will be held from 10am - 1pm. The price for the weekend is $125; $75 per day. We accept cash, checks or Zelle (no credit cards).

We are looking forward to the reunion and hope you can come!

We are filled with sadness and mourn the passing of Sensei Claude Berthiaume Shihan, who was an inspiration and a good friend to our dojo. He was a powerful teacher, an exceptional aikidoist and a wonderful person.
