COVID 19 INFORMATION FOR VISITORS

Individuals considering attending events on Smith’s campus should stay home if they have a fever, cough or shortness of breath. Should symptoms appear while they are already on campus, visitors are asked to self-isolate and contact their primary health-care provider. Individuals who have traveled to CDC alert-level 3 countries are not permitted on Smith’s campus until they have self-isolated and remained symptom-free for a minimum of 14 days.

Join us this Friday! Eric Toensmeier gives our Bulb Show opening lecture “Climate Change, Food, and Landscapes”, part of the Smith College Year on Climate Change. The lecture takes place at 7:30pm in the Campus Center and is free and open to the public. Visit our website for full details.

Eric’s lecture will be followed by a “low-carbon” reception featuring a (mostly) plants-based menu of locally sourced foods and a preview of the Bulb Show, both at Lyman Plant House. Thanks to for co-sponsoring the reception!

TreeSpeak is a feature designed to share the stories of the trees here at Smith College. DELAYED OPENING: The Lyman Plant House will open at 9:30 am today, Monday March 4th due to the weather. The Bulb Show will open to the public at its usual time of 10:00am.

Join us tonight for a talk by Duron Chavis, “Advancing Racial Equity though Regenerative Place-Making.” Campus Center Carroll Room, 7:30pm. Free and open to the public. Followed by a reception and preview of our Spring Bulb Show!
