Wurtele Center for Leadership at Smith College

Can you believe last week was our second-to-last Wurtele Wednesday of the semester? 😳 Crazy, right?

Last Wednesday, our meeting was watercolor-themed, and so many creative pieces came to life! 🎨 We also had Dunkin’ Donuts 🍩 to keep our Smithies fueled and inspired throughout the process 😅

We hope to see you this week to end the semester on a high note!

The walls of Kathleen McCartney Hall are now marked with art that reflects the experience of our students here at Smith 💙

From opportunities offered by the college to the little Easter eggs that are part of our community (yes, the Smith chop made it onto the wall, as well as many references to boba tea 🧋 ), this mural brings together the little and great things that make Smith, Smith.

Big shoutout to the artist Julia Emiliani, who, with the support of student interns Ruby Goldstein and Eloise Van Meter, created this incredible and carefully crafted piece of art.

Cookie Decorating Wurtele Wednesday was a lot of fun!

Smithies were split into groups, and each participant decorated their cookie based on the prompt their group picked.

Some people turned out to be professional cookie decorators, others… professional cookie eaters 😅

No matter which team you were on, we all had a great time!
