Can you believe last week was our second-to-last Wurtele Wednesday of the semester? ๐ณ Crazy, right?
Last Wednesday, our meeting was watercolor-themed, and so many creative pieces came to life! ๐จ We also had Dunkinโ Donuts ๐ฉ to keep our Smithies fueled and inspired throughout the process ๐
We hope to see you this week to end the semester on a high note!
โ ๏ธ Important note: this weekโs event will be on Tuesday, more details coming soon!
Wurtele Center for Leadership at Smith College
The Wurtele Center for Leadership creates a path of leadership growth for Smith College students through workshops, speakers, institutes and more.
Thank you for visiting our page! The Wurtele Center for Leadership is dedicated to providing quality and exciting leadership development opportunities for students at Smith College. We are currently rolling out our programs across campus, so feel free to reach out with questions. Keep an eye out for our programming, including Leadership for Rebels with Rachel Simmons, Leadership Labs with Ana Devlin Gauthier, major speakers such as author Tara Mohr, and more!
The walls of Kathleen McCartney Hall are now marked with art that reflects the experience of our students here at Smith ๐
From opportunities offered by the college to the little Easter eggs that are part of our community (yes, the Smith chop made it onto the wall, as well as many references to boba tea ๐ง ), this mural brings together the little and great things that make Smith, Smith.
Big shoutout to the artist Julia Emiliani, who, with the support of student interns Ruby Goldstein and Eloise Van Meter, created this incredible and carefully crafted piece of art.
Come check it out and let us know which detail is your favorite!
Cookie Decorating Wurtele Wednesday was a lot of fun!
Smithies were split into groups, and each participant decorated their cookie based on the prompt their group picked.
Some people turned out to be professional cookie decorators, othersโฆ professional cookie eaters ๐
No matter which team you were on, we all had a great time!
See you next Wednesday!
Weโre hiring! ๐จ
This is your chance to join the Wurtele Center team as a Newsletter & Digital Content Intern or an Events & Facilitation Intern.
Check out full details on Workday and apply by April 9.
If you have any questions, reach out to Megan Lyster at [email protected] or stop by McCartney Hall to chat with the current interns!
