Now Booking: Free Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainings for the 2026–2027 School Year

Reservations are now open for FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training for school staff during the 2026–2027 school year. Funded through a grant, this evidence-based training equips adults who work with youth ages 12–18 with the skills to recognize the signs of mental health and substance use challenges, respond using a 5-step action plan, and connect young people with appropriate support and professional resources.

Title IX Coordinator Training
9:30–11:30 a.m.
Designed for Title IX Coordinators, Deputy Coordinators, and school and district leaders responsible for Title IX compliance. Participants will build foundational knowledge to fulfill regulatory requirements and strengthen effective, equitable practice.

Title VI Civil Rights Coordinator Training
11:45 a.m.–1:45 p.m.
Designed for Title VI/Civil Rights Coordinators and school and district leaders. Through practical examples and school-based scenarios, participants will explore responsibilities related to nondiscrimination, complaints, equitable access, language access, discipline, and more.

Both sessions will be presented by Felicia S. Vasudevan, an attorney with Murphy, Hesse, Toomey & Lehane LLP.

The CES Center for Assistive Technology and Training (CCATT) is staffed by professionals with extensive classroom experience and expertise in assistive technology tools for students with learning disabilities, computer access needs, Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) evaluations, and adapted curriculum solutions.

Intro to Adaptive Music Education

How can music educators create inclusive, joyful music-making experiences for students with disabilities, including autism?

Join us on November 3 for this five-hour workshop designed for in-service general music teachers. Music Therapist Jen Kass, MA, MT-BC, and Jessica Corwin, Medley Music Access & Inclusion Director, will share practical tools, teaching strategies, and classroom activities to support meaningful inclusion, accommodation, and social connection.

Topics include neurodivergence-affirming practices, anti-ableist language, current research on autism and learning differences, and the importance of listening to neurodivergent voices.

Supporting Students with Non-Compliance: Building Emotional Capacity

How can educators better support students who avoid challenging situations, struggle with emotional regulation, or have difficulty managing uncomfortable emotions?

Join clinical psychologist Alex Hirshberg, Psy.D. for a four-part online series exploring practical, tiered strategies to support students in general education settings. Participants will learn tools for strengthening SEL skills, addressing avoidance, reducing oppositional behavior, teaching replacement behaviors, and using accommodations to build independence.
