There is still time to sign up for a Monday afternoon writing group for middle school girls! Do you know a girl who loves to write? Please spread the word!!

Spring Workshop Announced:

A Writing Workshop for Girls in 5th and 6th Grade
Mondays 3:30-5:30 in Florence, MA
April 7-June 16 (except April 21 and May 26)
$180 for 9 weeks

In this supportive creative writing workshop, girls will explore and invent and imagine. We’ll gather each week at a peaceful yoga studio in downtown Florence, settle in with a quick snack and check-in, and then write. Each week I’ll provide a writing prompt or two – which might be a found object, a quote, an image, a piece of music, but girls are free to go wherever their writing takes them. After a period of sustained, silent writing, we’ll gather to listen to one another’s words, offering encouragement and appreciation for the gift of each other’s stories.

“What will you do with your one wild and precious life?” asks Mary Oliver. Let’s discover that – and discover our own stories – by writing together.
