The Fall 2026 semester starts SEPTEMBER 14th! Now is your chance to sign up.

We have the following programs available:
The Sprout Preschool Group- The Sprout group is a great introduction for families interested in The WYLD Lands. It is designed for children 10 months to 4 years old where youth will engage in play -based learning alongside their caregivers. Sessions are held once a week on Mondays from 8:30 am - 10:00 am.

The Homeschool Seedlings Group-
This drop off program is run as a traditional forest school for potty trained 3 to 12 year olds. We encourage youth to spend time in the dirt and explore the natural world. It is designed to integrate seamlessly with your family’s homeschool curriculum. We have the following sessions.
Tuesdays run from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Do you have a child in public school and wish they could get more involved with The WYLD Lands?

Here is your chance! We will be offering drop in days during the fall semester on Wilkes County Schools teacher workdays. On September 25th, October 22nd, and October 23rd we will be running our half day (4 hours) forest school programming. This is similar to our Summer Adventure camps that we offer during the summer.

Fire 🔥
We respect the danger! Kids should learn about fire because it demystifies a dangerous curiosity, reframes the idea of fire as a tool rather than a toy, and builds critical life skills such as assessing risk and patience.

Well that's a wrap on our summer adventure camps for 2026! It was a record season for us. We had 30 unduplicated kids with us over the summer. Programming for 8 weeks allowed us to offer 160 hours of nature time to these youth.
