North Wilkesboro 💧
Reddies River dam and reservoir supplies about half of Wilkes County citizens in water, for those that have "city" water.
The water is treated by the Town of North Wilkesboro and sold to water associations in northern and eastern Wilkes. Those water associations such as Mulberry-Fairplains water association and Blue-Ridge water association have pumps that pump the water up into storage tanks. The water is then mostly gravity fed to your house.

The other half of Wilkes County gets their water from the Yadkin River and it is treated by the Town of Wilkesboro. The water is then sold to water associations in southern and western Wilkes. 💧 🚿 🚰
And much of Wilkes is not supplied by "city" water and wells and springs are used by those residents.
Where does your water come from?
