BIG BIRD AND THE GANG DAYCARE will start accepting applications for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Openings will be available August 22,2022. Openings are limited. We will only have one to three in each age group! Message me and make arrangements to put in your application soon.

As July is approaching quickly, we just wanted to post a reminder that we will be closed for July 4th holiday but will reopen July 5th!

Our Teachers encourage children to learn and grow on a daily basis. They inspire children to be lifelong learners using our nationally recognized curriculum that promotes social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities/Duties

-Provides high quality programming and care within their assigned age group/classroom(s)
Interacts with the children and encourages their involvement in classroom experiences.
-Provides and maintains a safe, caring, and welcoming classroom that is kept orderly, clean, and appealing.
-Understands and is mindful of how personal appearances, dress, use of body language and tone of voice impact the environment around them.
-Completing classroom planning documents on a weekly basis. Weekly Planning Forms are to be completed at least one-week prior to implementation for review and posting purposes.
-Providing a family-friendly and focused environment that includes frequent informal communication with caregivers as well as formal conferencing as needed
Requirements:

-Must be a minimum of 18 years old
-Must be able to pass criminal background check
-Have obtained or be willing to obtain NCcreditentials by completing EDU-119
-CPR/First Aide Certified or willing to be obtain certification
-Must be physically able to interact with children and lift up to 40 lbs
