It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that Jennings County High School shares the tragic passing of junior student, Aaron Blevins.

Aaron was a bright presence in our hallways, always greeting fellow students and staff with a warm smile and a cheerful "good morning." As a dedicated student at the Southeastern Career Center studying Welding Technology, he was working hard toward his dream of becoming a professional welder. His wonderful personality, quick wit, and kindness will be deeply missed by his classmates, teachers, and the entire JCHS community.

The well-being of our students and staff remains our highest priority during this difficult time. Jennings County High School counselors are available to support any student who needs a safe space to talk, guidance in processing grief, or assistance. Please encourage your student to reach out to the student support office if they need anything at all.

We ask our community to keep Aaron’s family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead.

Out of respect for the family during this time of immense grief, we kindly ask that their privacy be honored. Thank you for your continued compassion, support, and understanding.

👚👖PANTHER SHOP👢🎒

Mrs. Poore gives us a tour of the new location (Room 108A) of our Panther Shop! Clothing, shoes and hygiene items are donated so students have every opportunity to succeed at school!

PVE and business class students also work in the store to keep it prepped and ready for all students!

CTE PATHWAYS

At JCHS we offer a variety of Career & Technical Education (CTE) Pathways with multiple classes within each pathway that provide students with direct access to career-aligned programs using state-of-the-art in-house labs.

Students have the opportunity to earn their Commercial Driver's License or become a certified CNA, among other skills such as welding and culinary arts.

JCHS is Redefining The Impossible, striving for student success as they prepare for the next phase of life.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that Jennings County High School (JCHS) shares the tragic passing of senior Austin Luedeman following a motor vehicle accident.

Austin was an exceptional student, known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and unwavering willingness to help others. His positive presence will be deeply missed by his classmates, teachers, and the entire school community.

During this difficult time, the well-being of our students and staff is our highest priority. JCHS counselors are available for any student who needs grief support, a safe space to talk, or guidance in processing this loss. Please encourage your student to reach out to the student support office if they need assistance.
