Training event notification!

This evening Shield Up Defense LLC will be conducting Active Shooter training and Tactical Entry Training with the Jennings County Sheriff's Office at the Jennings County Courthouse.

The training will be conducted after normal operational hours.

The intent of this post is to inform the community and to alleviate any concerns and calls from individuals that happen to see numerous armed and tactically equipped officers at the courthouse.

Saturdays are for training!

Vevay Police Department and Switzerland Co Sheriffs Department put in almost 10hrs worth of active shooter/violent encounters training at the Switzerland County School Corporation.
It was a long day of training but well worth it. We look forward to coming back and are grateful for the opportunity to consult on your training.

Thank you to Vevay Chief Wolf, Sheriff Morten and to the School administration for hosting the training.

It’s been a good week for training!

I’d like to thank Sheriff Rick Meyer , Chief Deputy Dustin Steward and Lt. Adam Nicholson for promoting school safety and officer training by allowing Shield Up Defense LLC to consult on their active shooter/violent encounters training.
I’d also like to thank the Brownstown City Chief Tom Hanner for allowing and encouraging his officers to attend as well.
Additionally I’d like to thank the Brownstown Schools for promoting school safety by allowing their facility to be utilized for the training.
We appreciate to the heighest level possible the teachers who tolerated our occupation of the school, while at the same time trying to get classrooms ready for the students open house that evening. The teachers were more than accommodating and gracious throughout the day.

We look forward to working with you all in the near future.
